On September 2002, Quick-Med Technologies announced an exclusive multi-year distribution agreement with The Collaborative Group, Ltd. (now a unit of Engelhard Corporation), a specialty chemical company that provides ingredients and formulations to the skin care industry. This agreement provides for The Collaborative Group to employ MultiStat™ in their product development, to be followed by marketing and sales of MultiStat™ - related skin care products.

In June 2003, the first phase of product development was completed, and by approximately July 2003, The Collaborative Group launched its first product employing MultiStat™, EquiStat™, a performance ingredient for anti-aging skin care product that has been shown on clinical studies performed by Quick-Med Technologies and The Collaborative Group to have powerful skin restoration effects and significant effectiveness over competing products.
